This course is a survey of hospitality and tourism in a global context. Students will become acquainted with the economic, socio-cultural, demographic, and environmental impacts that tourism/hospitality has on the world community.
*Subject Objective students will be able to:
Describe the various segments of the restaurant industry and discuss issues currently confronting each segment.
Discuss consumer needs in the restaurant industry and the services required to fulfill these needs.
Analyze the various components of the restaurant industry.
